Aleatoria

AI Techno Generator: Club-Ready Techno at the BPM You Set

Updated 4 October 2026

Aleatoria generates techno from a text prompt at the tempo you set: write "dark hypnotic techno, rumbling kick, metallic percussion" and 130 BPM, and you get a finished track with a club-loud master, the measured BPM in the file tags, and a beat grid and cue points your DJ software can read whenever the beat could be measured reliably. A track from the AI model carries no key in its file; a synthesizer track carries its key too.

Make a 130 BPM techno trackOpens the studio with this template filled in. Nothing is generated until you press Generate.

How do I generate a techno track?

Open the studio, pick the techno genre (or use the 130 BPM button above), describe the sound and press Generate. The AI model renders a full track in about one to two minutes — up to about five when its GPU has to start first. The synthesizer makes a techno sketch in seconds for 0 credits, with every instrument on its own stem.

Will it really be at my BPM?

The tempo you ask for is what the track is aimed at. An AI model's tempo can drift slightly, so an AI track's file carries the BPM that was measured, not the one asked for; the free "Exact BPM" DJ tool then stretches the track onto the tempo you asked for, when its beat grid could be measured and the measured tempo is within 4 % of the target. Synthesizer tracks are on the grid by construction and carry the tempo you set.

Is the master loud enough for a club?

Techno, deep house, trance and drum & bass get a club master at about −8 LUFS by default, instead of the −14 LUFS streaming level used for other genres, so a generated techno track does not drop in level next to the records around it in a set. You can change the target before rendering.

What do I get for DJing?

  • The BPM in the tags — on an AI track the measured one, when the beat could be measured; a synthesizer track also has its key in the tags and in Camelot notation in the file name.
  • A beat grid and cue points for Serato, and a rekordbox XML per track with its grid and cues, whenever the beat could be measured reliably.
  • Exact BPM (free on every plan), Extended Mix and a DJ transition between two of your tracks in compatible keys and tempos (Studio and Pro).

Can I sell or play AI techno?

On Basic, Studio and Pro you may use your tracks commercially, including in paid gigs. Releasing is a different question: as reported on 28 August 2026, Beatport blocks fully or predominantly AI-generated tracks from its store, so check the rules of the store you release on.

FAQ

Which tempo range works best?

Anything you would play: the techno genre suggests 126–138 BPM, and you can type any tempo you like.

Can it make melodic techno?

Write it into the description ("melodic techno, arpeggiated synth lead, emotional pads") with the Techno genre. The AI model gets your words together with the Techno style tags (a driving kick, a hypnotic bassline, industrial percussion, a dark warehouse mood), so expect a darker take on melodic techno. The synthesizer plays its own techno arrangement, by default a filtered bass riff, one stab and an acid lead.

How much does one techno track cost?

An AI track of up to 4 minutes costs 5 credits; Basic, the cheapest plan at €2.99 a month, includes 100 credits (about 20 AI songs) and commercial use. Synthesizer tracks cost 0 credits. There is no free plan; without an account you can hear a 30-second synthesizer preview on the trial page.

Can I get the stems?

Synthesizer tracks come with a stem per instrument on every plan. For AI tracks, AI stems and MIDI are available on Studio and Pro.
